A day of bee-friendly fun

In celebration of World Bee Day, we welcome you to Wildhive to meet the beekeeper and browse bee-friendly plants, bee bowls and honey for sale.
Book for lunch or afternoon tea and enjoy fresh, seasonal and local produce. Micky will be serving Wildhive's signature Bees Knees Cocktail/Mocktail at the bar.

Meet the Beekeeper
James from Derybshire Package Bees is our resident beekeeper. Join James for talks on the importance of bees at Wildhive and the wider environment and how to build and take care of an apiary. You might even get the chance to try on a beekeeper suit. ???? ????
Talks at 11.00am, 12.30pm and 2.00pm

Please note the ground around the beehives is uneven, so we recommend wearing appropriate footwear.
Bee bowls, Wildhive honey pots and bee-friendly plants
We have commissioned locally pottery, The ClayRooms, to create some lovely ceramic bee bowls which can be positioned amongst your flowering plants for bees to drink from. Be the first to purchase one!
We will also have pots of Wildhive honey and bee-friendly plants for your garden on sale.
