Expect a day full of heightened excitement, fun and adrenaline rushes as the runners and riders race towards the finishing line to compete for some of the most sought after titles in the region.

This top-class Listed Handicap Chase features some of the best chasers and is a true test of stamina for both horse and rider with a prize of £150,000. Several of this races' previous runners have raced to glory in top steeplechase races such as the Aintree Grand National and Cheltenham Gold Cup, so be sure to come and watch the best of the best.

As well as the thrilling racing, there will be plenty of other entertainment too! The rugby village in the Centre Course will be hosting live music plus screening the Six Nations Rugby - Wales vs Italy match.

Getting there

Located on the Staffordshire / Derbyshire border, Uttoxeter Racecourse is easily accessible from Wildhive (20 mins) and for groups of 8 or more Wildhive guests, we will be offering free transport to and from the event, so you can relax with a drink or two, hopefully celebrating a successful win!

What to wear at Uttoxeter

Racegoers often choose to adopt a smarter style. For example, smart jeans or tailored shorts and a collared shirt for gentlemen. Many visitors opt to dress for the occasion on feature race days. The only stipulation is that sporting team shirts and offensive fancy dress are not permitted.

The priority at Uttoxeter is making sure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. On a practical note, all race meetings at Uttoxeter are predominantly outdoor events, and therefore be mindful of the weather when deciding what to wear.
