CHATSWORTH PLAYERS PRESENT
The Merry Wives of Windsor
We are delighted to welcome back the Chatsworth Players
for one night in the Wildhive meadow.
Thursday 17th July 2025 - 7pm
Wives may be merry and yet honest too.
Join the Chatsworth Players in the meadow as they return to Callow Hall to perform The Merry Wives of Windsor.
First published in 1602, Shakespeare's comedy is about the scheming Sir John Falstaff who tries to seduce two married women for their money, only to be repeatedly outwitted and humiliated by the clever wives and their families.
So grab your camping chair or picnic blanket, some snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing (we will go ahead in the rain) and head to the meadow at Wildhive Callow Hall for Shakespeare’s uproarious and entertaining The Merry Wives of Windsor.
£15.00 per person (+ £1 booking fee)
