Breakfast
A relaxed, laid-back affair, breakfast in the Garden Room is the perfect way to start the day. Explore our á la carte menu and tuck into something hearty to set you up for a big day of exploring, or maybe something lighter ahead of lunch with friends. We also offer a Breakfast Hamper delivery service to the woodland Hives and Treehouses.

Lunch
Our lunch menu offers a selection of dishes, from Szechuan Spiced Local Partridge to Hot Smoked Black Cod. Enjoy the bright and airy Garden Room with extensive views overlooking the valley, or, for a more formal occasion, in your very own private dining room. For a lighter lunch, our Snap menu offers an appetising choice which can also be served and enjoyed in our sitting rooms.

Seasonal Best Menu
Every month we celebrate the best of British produce, ready for harvest with our 'Best Of' menu. From the earliest asparagus crop in April to the first line-caught mackerel in July, David has created a menu to feature the freshest produce. Sourcing from local suppliers including The Pig Paddock, Sam's Eggs, The Grumpy Farmer, Ash House Farm Orchard and Daltons Dairy and home grown herbs and vegetables from our kitchen garden.

Snap Menu
For those wishing to enjoy a slightly more relaxed lunch in one of our sitting rooms, the Snap menu offers a delicious choice including Oat Crusted Venison Sausage Roll and Szechuan Pepper Pumpkin Wontons. 'Snap' is Derbyshire dialect for snack.

Sunday Best
Each Sunday, Head Chef Tom presents a lunch menu featuring the best seasonal produce. The Sunday Best menu is in addition to our daily Lunch menu.

Afternoon tea
This quintessentially British favourite features a selection of homemade sandwiches, sweet treats, scones fresh from the oven, and a piping hot pot to share from a choice of teas. Celebrating something special? Why not add a glass of Pol Roger or two. Please prebook Classic Vegan Tea and Children's Tea 24 hours in advance and advise of any dietary requirements.

Dinner
After a day of exploring, enjoy supper in our relaxed restaurant with friends and family. Start the evening with a pre-dinner drink in one of our inviting sitting rooms and take a look at the menu before you make your way into the Garden Room. Our evening à la carte menu continues to celebrate seasonality and locality with dishes including Venison Carpaccio or Grilled Sea Trout Steak with Amandine Sauce from the grill. Save room for Gypsy Tart and Queen of Puddings. Finish off the evening with a nightcap ~ what better way to end your day, whilst making plans for the next.
