Barre Therapy

Come and experience Barre at Wildhive in a relaxed and intimate setting.

A 60 minute guided journey in restorative movement designed to take you from deep breath and pelvic core work, flowing through a series of high-intensity, yet low-impact exercises at the barre, coming to a state of tranquility after a deeply meditative floor stretch session.

You emerge balanced, rejuvenated, harmonious, stronger in mind and body. This session is artfully choreographed with carefully curated music to change the way you think, feel and move.

What is Barre?

Barre is a full-body workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, Pilates and strength conditioning.

For anyone looking to improve balance, posture, alignment, core strength and stamina - the perfect way to build muscle while increasing your flexibility and mobility with no need for prior dance experience.

Also, for anyone wanting to access deep emotion, as the particular focus on hips and hip flexors can help with trauma release.

The Barre “Buzz” (Benefits):

“Erin's class provides a fantastic workout for the entire body. By combining aspects of Pilates, Yoga and Barre work, with higher intensity warm ups and gentle stretching to cool, I found it really helped to strengthen my core whilst working other muscles I didn't know I had! The class is inclusive of all abilities as Erin offers options and adaptations to suit, this, combined with her friendly and welcoming personality puts you at ease immediately and sends you away with a new strength for both the body and mind.”

“I was a little apprehensive before starting the classes as it had been a long time since I’d done any structured exercise! I needn’t have worried though; the classes were great fun and it was good to see improvements in my strength and technique after just a few sessions. Erin is a fantastic instructor - patient and kind with a good sense of humour, all of which enable her to put everyone at ease and create an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere.”
