Meet Gavin

Gavin is a friendly and experienced yoga instructor who brings a unique multidisciplinary approach to his teaching practice. Having trained in India, he holds a deep knowledge in traditional yoga methods while seamlessly integrating modern wellness coaching techniques.

His yoga instruction is designed not just for physical wellness but as a tool for life transformation. Students learn to use yoga practices to reduce stress, increase efficiency and effectiveness, and develop the tools needed for self-care and better service to others.

Gavin offers yoga instruction as part of a comprehensive wellness strategy that includes life coaching, business mentoring, and nature-based practices. His goal is helping clients achieve "alignment, authenticity and vitality" in all aspects of their lives.

Gavin hosts two weekly classes at Wildhive, near Ashbourne, often incorporating outdoor settings and the wider Peak District into his holistic wellness practice.

Private yoga sessions are available £75 (up to a class of 4)
Corporate classes £125 (for up to 10 people)

Wild Awake Yoga

Throughout the summer, start your week with intention and take time to reconnect with nature in the outdoors at Wildhive.*

Join Gavin and fire up a fresh week with a warming ginger shot and energetic 1 hour yoga flow on the wild side.

Afterwards why not join your fellow practitioners for a coffee or breakfast in the Garden Room Restaurant (additional cost applies).

£20 per 1 hour class to include a ginger shot. Class pass available through Gavin's website.

Bring your mat (spares available), water bottle, and an open heart.

Thursday at 6.15pm

Yoga Flow

Join Gavin for a dynamic flow yoga class, guiding you through a carefully crafted sequence that builds strength, flexibility, and inner calm.

Perfect for all practitioners, this session combines flowing Vinyasa sequences with mindful transitions and deeper holds. Gavin's thoughtful instruction creates space for both challenge and restoration.

Set within the studio in the converted Coach House at Wildhive, you'll leave feeling grounded, energised, and deeply connected to your practice.

All levels welcome with modifications offered throughout.

Group classes start at 6.15pm for 1 hour (please arrive at 6.00pm).

£18 per class (maximum 10 guests per class). Class pass available through Gavin's website.

Wildhive Callow Hall

Nestled in 35 acres of gardens and woodland, our homely retreat is the perfect place to switch off and enjoy a much needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The Coach House features a yoga studio and two treatment rooms offering massages, facials and hand/feet treatments plus an interactive gym. Treatments can be arranged for an additional charge and subject to availability. View Treatment Menu here.

The Garden Room is a beautiful open space encouraging easy connections over shared dining. Sustainably-sourced flavours come together with unrivalled panoramic views across the landscape surrounding the house.

 

Notes

  • Each class is suitable for all levels and is open to over 18’s only (16-17 years old when accompanied by an adult).
  • Please bring your favourite mat (spares available) and water.
  • When weather allows, we may go outdoors for classes, so please wear suitable clothing.
  • There is free parking on site.
  • Full payment is required upon booking.
  • Cancellations: If you can’t make it to your booked event, please provide at least 2 days notice before the event date. This gives us enough time to offer your spot to someone else.
  • Refunds: Refunds are only possible if we receive your cancellation at least 2 days prior to the class.
  • Missed Events: Unfortunately, if you miss an event due to illness, self-isolation, or other unforeseen circumstances, we won’t be able to reschedule you for a future date. This helps keep things fair for everyone and ensures all guests get the best possible experience.
  • Injury: If you have an injury please contact Gavin, who will advise on the suitability of participating in the class.
